The theatre arts program at NSCS is open to students in grades 4 – 8. We provide students with an opportunity to study and become more proficient in the various aspects of drama and theatrical production. They are encouraged to communicate and express themselves not only through language, but also through movement, posture, and facial expression. They also study the various aspects and challenges of the technical side of theatre production. The experience of mounting a production affords students a unique opportunity to build camaraderie and a sense of teamwork and community among students of various ages. All of us in the production are drawn together in common purpose to achieve a creative goal.
