Liz MacDavitt

Middle School Social Studies and Bible Grade Teacher, Dean of Students

Liz MacDavitt is in her 9th year of teaching at NSCS Beverly Campus. She currently is the Dean of Students and Middle School Social Studies and Bible teacher on the Beverly campus.  Miss MacDavitt loves teaching here because she can see God at work in the lives of the students and teachers. Liz states that “God has been so faithful and good. Getting to be here everyday and be a part of a community where students love the Lord, serve others, and grow in their faith is one of the greatest joys of my life.”

Miss MacDavitt is a native of Syracuse, NY and graduated from Gordon College 2011. Liz graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in French and Political Science. Liz studied abroad for one semester in Aix-en-Provence, France where she studied the French language and culture. In May 2016, she graduated with a Masters of Education in Teaching English as a Second Language, which she also received from Gordon College. In her free time away from teaching, she really enjoys sports – particularly the Boston Red Sox, as well as reading, traveling, cooking, being at the beach, and spending time with family and friends. Liz also loves dogs, the outdoors, being a youth group leader, holidays, shopping, snow, and laughing a lot!

Miss MacDavitt loves to inspire her students to try new things, be brave, and speak life!
