Head of School
Pam Heintz is the Head of School. She holds her BA in Psychology from Gordon College and her M.Ed. from Lesley University where she graduated with honors. Mrs. Heintz is a gifted educator who has worked in many Christian schools. She knows each child by name and welcomes them to her office, whether they come for a band-aid or a sympathetic ear. The students love her, perhaps because she always kneels to speak to them at their own level and comes to the classroom to serenade them individually on their birthdays. A “hands on” principal, she will join field trips and classroom lessons: “The BEST part of my job is seeing young children grow in their understanding and love of their Maker, Jesus Christ. For me there is nothing more satisfying than to meander in and out of classrooms and hear teachers instructing from a biblical Christian worldview.” Her limitless enthusiasm, zany sense of humor, and steady common sense set the tone for the campus. For Mrs. Heintz, the needs of the child come first, and she recognizes one of children’s needs is to minister. Following the earthquake in Haiti she began a long-term campus involvement with an onsite ministry in Haiti. Each Christmas students fill shoeboxes with food, toiletries, school supplies and small toys for Haitian children. Children learn that even big global problems can be approached with prayer, study, and communal effort.
